He is only 12 years old...but he has done a lot for me and our family. I can still remember when my health took a turn for the worse a few years back, he was still so young at the time. Yet he told me not to worry and promised me that he will do anything and everything for me. And yes, he did keep his promise...
.
I will never forget how he took turns with his dad to read to me everyday. I will never forget the way he brushed my hair. I will never forget the way he fed me food. I will never forget how he insisted to help me to type my words coz he strongly thinks that I should keep on writing no matter what...
.
But since his Mamajee passed away, half of him was lost. You must’ve have noticed that most of things which we shared in the past was written by him - our very own writer. Like I always said, he was #BornToWrite!
.
Unfortunately he’s been struggling to express his thoughts into words...
.
I then made a promise to myself to be his lost voice. I made a promise to myself that I will carry on writing like he has always wanted me to do. I made a promise to myself to be the light that will guide him back to his old self...or perhaps to his newly found him...
.
And tonight, as he was going up to bed...he finally told me and his dad, “I’m gonna start writing again!”
.
Welcome back son,

p/s: Dear Mukhtar, if you’re reading this, I want you to know that I will never forget every little thing that you’ve done for me...not only those which I’ve mentioned above. I promise that I will never forget them...ever...till my last breath...
